UK Leadership Development Activities

I support the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program at UK as well as the Graduate Certificate in Developmental Disabilities program at UK.

I am the instructor of record for HDI 601, HDI 603, and HDI 604.

The HDI 601 and HDI 603 courses are designed to provide students with opportunities to learn the range of clinical systems for individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities. I facilitate practicum placements and other leadership activities for students in these courses.

The HDI 604 course is an interdisciplinary leadership seminar for students who will assume leadership roles in promoting community supports for persons with developmental disabilities and their families. The students also complete an individually designed leadership project in this course.
