Join a new initiative at the University of Kentucky—A Leadership Development Collaborative (LDC). This exciting project includes establishing a broad network (also known as a community of practice) of UK faculty and staff who cultivate leadership development of UK undergraduate students. This collaborative can provide opportunities for sharing ideas and resources, experiencing professional development, and discussing how student leadership development exists across campus.
This initiative is a result of a Provost IMPACT Award granted to the Lewis Honors College; the college is partnering with the Martin School of Public Policy on several grant projects. Additionally, a Leadership Advisory Council (LAC) was established to oversee the grant activities and is comprised of 12 members with representation from CELT, the College of Education, Gatton College of Business and Economics, Lewis Honors College, Martin School, Martin-Gatton CAFÉ, and Student Success.
We are seeking input as we work to develop a centralized resource that captures the full range of leadership programs and activities across the university. If you have not yet contributed, please take a moment to complete the Mapping Leadership Development Programs and Initiatives at UK survey.
